I find it so difficult to make cards for men & rely on the colour & PP paper to look ‘masculine’.
I made this card for my Dads’ 88th birthday next month & as an entry to the challenge over at BCR8IV blog (check out Michelles’ terrific site - link on the left)
Patterned paper: Basicgrey ‘Skate Shoppe’ & Dasher collections.
Faux Chipboard ‘DAD’ cut from cereal box using ‘George’ Cricut cartridge & covered with my own computer designed spotted paper & inked edges.
Canvas tag: This was from a new pair of jeans my husband bought. I just printed happy birthday onto PP & sewed it onto the canvas.
Other: Ribbon brad, Polka grosgrain, ink & SEWING. TFL.

Hi JC, you asked about linking blogs - create a new post. Type in your text. Highlight the name of the person who's blog you want to link to, then click on 'link', it's about 5 icons along on the toolbar immediately above your text.(hover until you find the right one) A little box will pop up with http:// in it, complete the address, click ok. You can do this for all the people you want to link to. Don't worry, I only recently learned how to do this myself, you are not alone x
Hi!! I was going to email you, but didn't see a link. Click on my name and email me and I'll help you with the links if you would like! :)
A great card!
